After the end of the ODI series in the West Indies, Rohit flew to the USA for the opening of his cricket academy 'Crickingdom'. Rohit guided India to a 1-0 victory against the West Indies in the Test series. He just played the first ODI against the West Indies and then rested for the remaining two games to give the youngsters a chance.
In an video, Rohit can be seen discussing the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be held in the United States of America and the West Indies. During the event in the United States, Rohit stated that he is looking forwards to next year's huge event.

The 36-year-old stated, "More than just going and enjoying, there is another reason to come here (in the USA). Because you know the World Cup is coming. In June, there will be the T20 World Cup (2024) happening in this part of the world. So, I'm pretty sure everyone is excited. So yaa, we look forward to that."
The revelation has sparked the interest of Rohit Sharma supporters, but much will rely on India's performance in the ODI World Cup 2023 and Rohit's performance in the IPL 2024. Even if he does well, Rohit is unlikely to participate in another T201 World Cup for India.
