Watch: Salem Spartans fielder runs out Lyca Kovai Kings, nobody appealed

TNPL 2023 table toppers, Lyca Kovai Kings continue to dominate in the season. In the ongoing game against Salem Spartans, the Kings have shown why they are the table-toppers. Batting first, the Kovai amassed 199/8, thanks to S Sujay (44), Sai Sudharsan (41), Atheeq Ur Rehman (31), and Ram Arvindh (50*). Meanwhile, in the third over of the first innings, S Sujoy, who was batting with Sudharsan got run out.

However, the former wasn't given out as the fielding team, the Spartans didn't appeal even though he was in the air when the ball hit the stumps. After watching the replays, the commentators were shocked as it was clear even in the real-time replays. This seems to have cost the team as Sujoy scored 44 off 32 balls, providing a solid start.
