Indian fast bowler Sandeep Sharma has become the new sensation of IPL by saving 21 runs in the last over against Chennai Super Kings. While KKR's Rinku Singh did a historic feat in the IPL by hitting 5 sixes in 5 balls in the match against Gujarat Titans, Sandeep has now defended 21 runs in front of one of the world's best finishers, MS Dhoni.

The special thing was that CSK needed only 7 runs in the last 3 balls to win as he was hit for two back-to-back sixes by Dhoni on the 2nd and 3rd delivery of the over. In such a situation, by giving only 3 runs in these last 3 balls, Sandeep did the work which was pretty difficult. Fans and cricket pundits are continuously praising Sandeep's last yorker.

Meanwhile, the speedster's wife Natasha Sathwick has shared her reaction on social media. In the videos shared by her on Insta Story, Sandeep's wife is watching his last over with their 9-month-old daughter. Natasha, while sharing this video, wrote, 'When she sees her dad on TV. Daddy's Girl'. Also, Natasha described Sandeep Sharma's memorable last over as tense and heart-pounding.

I was bowling good Yorkers in the nets: Sandeep Sharma

Sandeep talked about his breathtaking last over in the post-match presentation and said that bowling yorkers are his strength as he practices them in the nets. While revealing his plan against Dhoni, Sandeep said that bowling from the round of the wicket helped him a lot.

"I backed my strength of executing the Yorkers. I have been bowling the Yorkers well in the nets. One side of the ground was bigger so I decided to bowl a yorker on the heels (of MS Dhoni) but it turned out to be low full tosses and both were hit for sixes. After that, I changed my plan and went around the wicket to change the angle and it's great it gave me a different result," he said after the match.

"I bowled over the wicket to Jaddu bhai (Ravindra Jadeja). The idea was to pitch it out of his reach. He had hit two sixes off Jason Holder. So I thought of getting the ball away from his reach," Sandeep said.
