Shikhar Dhawan who has been out of the Indian Team for quite a long time has been. He was also not selected in the 15-man squad for India for the upcoming World Cup. He recently visited the Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and his family.
Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 56th birthday on, September 9. To celebrate the same, the Bollywood superstar, along with his family, reached the Jyotirling temple of Baba Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain to seek blessings. Both Akshay and Shikhar were seen performing aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple.

Akshay arrived with his sister, niece, and son. Shikhar was accompanied by his family as well. The actor and the cricketers arrived at the temple right from the airport and proceeded to Shri Mahakal Lok after doing bhasma aarti. In an interview with the media, Akshay stated that the country should continue to grow with Baba's blessings.
Shikhar Dhawan expressed his gratitude to God for calling them and accepted his blessings. When Shikhar was asked about the World Cup, Akshay humorously said that Baba would win small things like these. He further stated that Mahakal is watching the progress and wishes the country well.
The India opener previously shared a heartfelt message he congratulated his teammates who were selected to represent India in the World Cup 2023 and expressed his support and gratitude for the team,to bring the cup back home and make the nation proud.
Dhawan tweeted, "Congratulations to my fellow teammates & friends chosen to represent India in the WC 2023 tournament!
