India batter Shubman Gill was seen in a light mood during Day 1 of the ongoing first Test against West Indies. The team has had a rough one month after losing the World Test Championship final 2023. Since then, they played no cricket and the relevance of their ongoing tour of the West Indies was in question. Not to forget, the Caribbean ODI side managed to miss out on the 2023 ODI World Cup spot.
Meanwhile, the Asian side dominated the proceedings as they bowled out the Windies for 150 runs. In the first two sessions of the day, the two-time WTC finalists took four wickets each.
