Watch: Trent Boult's brilliant catch stuns fans in Dharamsala during RR vs PBKS clash in IPL 2023

Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are clashing against each other in the 66th match of the Indian Premier League at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Friday, May 19. Both sides have a bleak chance of making it to playoffs. A win for either will take them to 14 points. But then they will have to pray that both MI and RCB lose their last respective game.

Meanwhile, RR star speedster Trent Boult took a mind-blowing catch during the first innings of the match which is being liked by the fans a lot on social media. The incident took in the very first over of the match when Boult delivered the second bowl of the over to Prabhsimran Singh and he played it tentatively as he chipped it right towards Boult who flew to his right and completed an impressive catch in his followthrough.

Who will qualify for the playoffs from here?

Regarding RR's prospects of making the playoffs, they are better than PBKS because they have a higher NRR. However, they must first secure a victory. They were semifinalists in the previous competition but really faltered in the middle. Although the team led by Shikhar Dhawan initially showed some aggression, they failed to gain momentum over time.

In their most recent match, in which they lost disgracefully by 112 runs to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), RR's net run rate had a significant impact. They were bowled out for just 59 runs. However, PBKS also lost their most recent game to Delhi Capitals (DC) by 15 runs. Both teams will aim for victory because a defeat would mean elimination from the tournament. It would be intriguing to see if any of them could perform a miracle from this point on and obtain playoff tickets.
