India defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets on Thursday in the second match of their ongoing series. Having already won the first match, the Men in blue sealed the series against Sri Lanka with one match yet to be played. The team led by Rohit Sharma won the game at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati by 67 runs and the game at Eden Gardens by four wickets.
After the second match at the iconic Eden Gardens, Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan provided entertainment for the fans in the stadium. The former Indian captain and the emerging player were seen dancing in sync after the match. A video of the duo has gone viral on the internet.

KL Rahul took charge of the Rohit Sharma-led side with an unbeaten 64 runs from 103 balls. The iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata was packed for the second One-Day International (ODI) between India and Sri Lanka, with fans hoping for another Virat Kohli batting masterclass.
But it didn't happen, and the star batter was struck out for four runs in nine balls. The right-handed batter came into this game after scoring two back-to-back ODI centuries, but he failed to impress the cricket-crazed crowd at the Eden with his brilliant strokeplay.
While Virat has played in both matches of the series so far, Ishan has sat on the bench in both. Ishan made history in his final ODI appearance for India, against Bangladesh on December 10, 2022, by becoming the fastest and youngest batter to score a double century in ODIs, but he was still left out of the playing XI.
Shubman Gill took his place and returned to the side. Shubman, on the other hand, lived up to the hype, scoring 70 runs off 60 balls in the first game and 21 runs off 12 balls in the second.
The final game of the series will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on the 15th of January.
