Former India captain Virat Kohli is a global icon, on and off the field. The run machine for India in international cricket left the world in awe of his batting. He will be key to India's chances in the high-voltage clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023.

He was photographed chatting with a specially-abled Pakistani supporter. The 34-year-old was kind enough to have a friendly conversation with him and spend some time. It showed that Kohli's popularity is not only in India but in other countries as well. The video of the same has gone viral on social media.

Here's the video:

Virat Kohli: A living legend

Previously speaking to Star Sports' on Follow the Blues LIVE, Kohli said he remains careful about Pakistan's impactful bowlers, given their ability to pick up wickets in clumps. The former captain said, "I feel bowling is their strength. And they’ve got some really impactful bowlers that can change the course of the game anytime based on their skill set. So you have to be at your absolute best to face them."

Pakistan is going to be India's biggest challenge in the Asia Cup. They are playing good cricket at the moment, they have won their first match in the Asia Cup by a mammoth 238 runs against Nepal. India's batting will once again be tested by the excellence of the pace bowlers from Pakistan. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah make a deadly trio.

They will be hard to deal with, but India has top-quality batting with the likes of Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli himself. The battle between India's batting and Pakistan's bowling will yet again be the most fascinating thing in an India vs Pakistan match. Kohli would be the key for India against Pakistan at Pallekele. He knows the conditions well in Sri Lanka and that should help.

There's a rain prediction for tomorrow's high-voltage match. But the fans would be hoping that they would see a full 50-over match.
