India showed a high-class performance against arch-rivals Pakistan. They handed them a hefty defeat by 228 runs, with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scoring centuries. The Men in Blue showed all-round performances with bat and ball, that earned them crucial points in Super 4.
The hotel staff organized a ceremony for the Player of the Match Virat Kohli. After that, Kohli, Rohit Sharma Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and others went straight to the swimming pool.

Rohit and Kohli show their dance moves
In a video that the Indian Cricket Board shared on social media, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and others could be seen chilling in the swimming pool of their hotel. With Kohli, Rohit, and Jadeja even displaying their dancing skills in the pool.
Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored centuries, the former India skipper scored 122 runs off 94 balls and the wicketkeeper batter scored 111 runs off 102 balls. The bowling department also ensured that Pakistan only reached 128 runs while chasing a target of 357. Kuldeep Yadav finished with a five-wicket haul as Pakistan struggled against the left-arm wrist spinner. As well as taking five wickets, his eight overs cost only 25 runs.
The Men in Blue were seen relaxing in the swimming pool as they will be facing Sri Lanka today which will be their 3rd straight day on the ground. With back-to-back matches the seven-time Asia Cup champions will be eager to make some changes in the squad in order to avoid injury problems with World Cup around the corner.
The team India skipper stated after the match, "Fantastic performance, right from yesterday. When we started, we knew the wicket was good and we had to adjust with the rain, the two experienced (Kohli an Rahul) guys we knew they’d take time to get their eye in and then we can get going. Looking at how we batted, there were lots of positives with the openers and then Virat and KL."
