Star India batter Virat Kohli has been phenomenal throughout his career. On Thursday, Kohli played in his 500 international match as soon as he stepped into bat on Day 1 of the second Test. Kohli, in his innings, scored an unbeaten 87 runs before stumps and is looking forward to another tonne.
Meanwhile, there is a video going viral on social media that displays Kohli's Alpha response to the West Indies wicketkeeper. West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Joshua Da Silva tried to frustrate Kohli with his sledging. He constantly asked Kohli to complete his century from behind the wickets and why he was taking doubles when he could hit boundaries.
In the viral video, Kohli can be seen responding with a crazy statement, saying, "I have been stealing doubles since 2012". Further, Da Silva said that his mother has come to watch Kohli, and the Indian batter should complete his century. Kohli hilariously replied You are obsessed with me. The conversation went like this:
Joshua Da Silva: "My mom told me she’s coming to watch Virat Kohli bat; I couldn’t believe it.
Da Silva: "Get your 100 Virat; I want you to score it."
Virat Kohli: "You’re obsessed with my milestones?"
Da Silva: "I know, I am, and I want you to get your hundred."

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave India a solid start
After winning the toss, West Indies skipper Carlos Braithwaite opted to bowl first. His decision didn't go well with the team, as Indian opener Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal toyed with them. The opening pair scored 139 runs for the first wicket and amazed everyone. Jaiswal, in his innings, scored 57 runs off 74 balls with the help of nine fours and a six.
Meanwhile, India Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 80 runs off 143 balls with the help of nine fours and two sixes. Notably, Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane failed to impress with the bat as they were dismissed on the cheap. However, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja added 107 runs for the fifth wicket, helping India stay in a commanding position.
