England and USA locked horns in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar on November 26, Saturday and the Three Lions eventually gave the match away in most parts of the game as USA managed to come up with proper shots at regular intervals.

As things, both teams remained at 0-0 at the stroke of the first-half whistle, during the 26th minute of the epic game, USA’s Weston McKennie came up with a shot, that eventually prevented them from taking an early lead against the Three Lions.

England dominate in FIFA World Cup 2022

As things stand, post-making a confident start against Iran in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, the English side have been brimming with fire and ensuring that they are ahead of the other teams, making them one of the early favourties to make it through to the summit clash and clinch the title eventually.

While the road to the Round of 16 looks smooth for the Three Lions, as far as USA are concerned, they will have to work hard and fare well in their next outing given that their first match of the ongoing campaign against Wales ended in a draw. Given Iran and Wales have been poor in the ongoing multinational tournament so far, the dominance of USA could help them seal a spot in the knockouts

England’s next and final group stage outing would be against Wales, while USA, on the other hand, will face off against Iran in their final encounter. As things stand, the Three Lions, who have never defeated USA in the history of the tournament, will have to wait for a few more years or at least a few more days, to let the monkey off the back. For the unversed, the teams faced off two times in the past and USA won it once, while the other ended in a draw, much to the stupefaction of the football fans.
