India locked horns with arch-rivals, Pakistan in their opening fixture of the Super 4 of the 2023 edition of Asia Cup. The first match between both sides in the group stages was called off due to rain just after the completion of the Indian innings. If we talk about the Super 4 encounter of Asia Cup 2023 played at R. Premadasa Stadium, in Colombo, Sri Lanka between India and Pakistan, it has a reserve day as there were chances of rain.

The rain interrupted the play after the completion of 24.1 overs of the Indian innings. After a long delay of more than three hours, the match was called off due to persistent rain at the R. Premadasa Stadium, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The match will restart on September 11 from 24.1 overs. After 24.1 overs, the Men in Blue have scored 147 runs with the loss of two wickets.

For a result, both teams have to play atleast 20 overs in the Super Four clash

It can be noted that if the match between both the sides is not completed due to rain, both India and Pakistan would get a point each. The Men in Blue will face the Sri Lankan side inside 24-hours of the completion of Pakistan encounter. The match will be played on Tuesday, September 12 and after that against Bangladesh on Friday, September 15 at the same venue, R. Premadas Stadium, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
