Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be back in action against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, May 6. However, their last high-intensity clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is still one of the biggest headlines of this season.

Meanwhile, former Indian pacer S Sreesanth has given a big statement amid the heated situation between former RCB captain Virat Kohli and DC’s director of cricket Sourav Ganguly which was clearly visible during their last encounter when both of them ignored each other and didn’t shake hands. And now it seems like Sreesanth wants more drama as he said that the clash will be interesting it can go outside the field too.

"This match will be interesting as it will be Virat vs Dada. The match looks good in which there is a little excitement inside the field and a little outside the field. Looking at the kind of relationship Virat and Sourav share, a lot is seen during this match and then such matches motivate the players to give their best". Sreesanth was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

The Kohli-Gambhir dispute

Kohli is all pumped in the ongoing season IPL on and off the field as in 9 matches he has already 364 runs in the season so far at a brilliant average of 45.50. However, his heated interaction with some LSG players and mentor Gautam Gambhir is the highlight of the season so far. RCB defeated the KL Rahul-led team by 18 runs and after the match, Kohli and LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq exchanged some heated words.

Later, Gambhir was also involved in the fiery encounter and it reminded the fans Kohli-Gambhir's 10-year-old fight when the left-hander used to lead Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But this time the matter didn't go too far as Rahul intervened to cool down both Kohli and Gambhir. But the fans are anticipating another clash between LSG and RCB if they both qualify for the playoffs.
