WWE Smackdown recap – all the action from go-home show before Elimination Chamber

The final WWE Smackdown before the Elimination Chamber was filled with action and new twists and turns. Grayson Waller added a new dimension to the show after Roman Reigns wanted to interact with him. 

The rest of the show was filled with fast-paced matches as Bron Brekker made his official Smackdown debut. The main event of the show featured LA Knight take on Drew McIntyre as Randy Orton made an appearance. 

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 is set to take place in Perth, Australia on Saturday. This is the second Premium Live Event of the year. WWE Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes is set to be down under along with Seth Rollins. 

All the action from WWE Smackdown as it happened – 

In the first match of the day LIV Morgan took on Tiffany Stratton to open WWE Smackdown. The two ladies fought well as they are set to be part of the Women’s Elimination Chamber as well. Tiffany Stratton won the match to get an early impetus going into her first chamber match. 

The camera cut backstage where there was an intense segment from the bloodline. This was followed by the official debut for Bron Brekker who defeated a local talent quickly. It was an amazing debut to Bron Brekker on his main roster debut. 

Tag team action followed next as The New Catch Republic featuring Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne took on JD McDonaugh and Dominik Mysterio. Bate and Dunne won the match as Balor and Priest came out to send a message to their Elimination Chamber rivals. 

There was more tag team action as the Authors of Pain part of The Final Testament faction beat the street profits. Karion Kross has been at loggerheads with Bobby Lashley who is currently with the Street Profits. 

Dakota Kai finally seemed to earn the trust of Bayley after their former group members had attacked Kai. Bayley is the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble and is set to face Iyo SKY. It was soon time for the main event of the day as LA Knight took on Drew McIntyre. 

The match ended in double disqualification as each and every member of the Men’s Elimination Chamber intervened. Just as it seemed like Drew McIntyre was set to end the show on a high, Randy Orton appeared. The veteran star hit the Scottish wrestler with an RKO as the show ended with Randy Orton taking in the fans applause.
