The Indian captain Rohit Sharma visited the famous Tirupathi temple along with his family ahead of the big tournaments.

The Indian team is currently playing the West Indies in an all-format tour. India won the Test series of two matches by a margin of 1-0. The ODI series of three games was won by the Asian side by a margin of 2-1. In the T20I series, the Men In Blue has leveled the series 2-2 after four games with the decider to go. The last match of the tour will be played in Lauderhill, Florida on August 13.

The Indian captain, Rohit Sharma played a key role in Team India’s win against the West Indies in the Test series. In the first game, he scored 103 runs in 221 balls on a slow wicket. In the second Test of the series, the 36-year-old scored 80(143) in the first innings and 57(44) in the second innings. Without a doubt, the captain led from the front and helped his side win the series.  

In two Tests in the series, the Indian star batter scored 240 runs at a great batting average of 80.00 including a hundred and 2 fifty. In the ODI series, India decided to rest the senior players to test the capabilities of the young talents. As a result, Rohit did not get to bat in the first game and rest for the second and third ODI of the series. In the first ODI, Rohit batted at number 7 and scored an unbeaten 12*(19).

After India won the third ODI, the star players like Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma returned home. The trio has not played a T20I match in a long time. They have not played a T20I match after the 2022 T20 World Cup. In their free time, the star cricketers are spending their time in their own way.   

The two-time World Championship winner has opted to visit the world-famous Tirupathi temple before the start of the big tournaments. The Mumbai Indians skipper in the IPL was seen in the temple with his family, who went to offer prayers together. India will be playing in some of the important tournaments like the 2023 Asia Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup in the upcoming months.
