In the last match of the Border-Gavaskar series, which was played between India and Australia, the Indian team's star batter and former captain Virat Kohli scored a century after a long gap of 3 years in Test cricket. After this feat, many fans and former cricketers around the world praised him a lot on social media.
Meanwhile, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh also expressed his views about Kohli's century and his batting. Harbhajan also opined that the 34-year-old batter can also break the record of 100 international centuries of former Indian legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar.
“It's certainly possible. I think he can score more than that (100 centuries). Two things favour Virat here: his age and his fitness. He's 34 but his fitness is that of a 24-year-old cricketer. He's way ahead in that aspect,” Harbhajan was quoted as saying by IndiaToday.

However, the right-handed batter didn’t get runs in the first three Tests as the pitch were also unplayable but as soon as he came to bat in Ahmedabad, he looked in great touch since the start and scored 184 runs. The former cricketer also mentioned that Kohli will hit 50 more centuries because of his fitness. He even said that Kohli has god-gifted batting abilities and just needs to work more on his fitness.
“He has already scored 75 centuries, he can score at least 50 more. He knows his game and he plays all formats. You might think I'm going overboard with this, but it is certainly possible. If anyone can do it, it's Virat Kohli. Rest all are far behind him,” Harbhajan added.
"He knew he had to work on his fitness because his batting abilities are god-gifted. I don't think he will stop from here. There are no technical faults, and even if they are, he works on them and rectifies them. Since his return (after break), he has already scored five centuries. This is pretty much a comeback for him,” said Harbhajan.
