In a thrilling encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings in the 37th match of IPL 2023, it was Rajasthan Royals who emerged victorious by 32 runs. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first, and their decision proved to be right as they posted a challenging total of 202/5 on the scoreboard.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star of the show for RR, scoring a brilliant 77 off just 43 balls. He hit 8 fours and 4 sixes in his innings and provided a solid platform for the middle-order to build upon. Dhruv Jurel played a vital role, smashing 34 off 15 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes. Devdutt Padikkal also contributed with 27 off 13 balls.

Tushar Deshpande was the pick of the bowlers for Chennai Super Kings, picking up 2 wickets, while the rest of the bowlers struggled to contain the Rajasthan Royals batsmen.

In response, Chennai Super Kings got off to a poor start, losing their top-order cheaply. Ruturaj Gaikwad was the only top-order batsman who could make a significant contribution, scoring 47 off 29 balls with 5 fours and 1 six.
