Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh came up with his opinion and statement just after the heated verbal spat between former RCB skipper Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. Both the veterans were fined 100 percent of their respective match fees for breaching IPL’s code of conduct.

Coming back to Harbhajan Singh, he felt that whatever happened between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli was not right for the game.

"Whatever happened between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir was not right for cricket. I'm ashamed of what I did with S Sreesanth,” said Harbhajan Singh on his YouTube Channel.

Although a section of cricket fans immediately took to Twitter to troll Harbhajan Singh for his opinion on the spat between Gambhir and Kohli and also remember his infamous physical altercation with S Sreesanth.

“Lucknow Super Giants’ Mentor Gautam Gambhir has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow,” read the official statement from IPL governing body.

“Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Lucknow Super Giants at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow,” the statement adds further.

Notably, the entire incident started with the heated conversation between Naveen ul Haq and Virat Kohli during the 17th over of the second innings when LSG was chasing the target posted by RCB. It was followed by an exchange of words between Kohli and LSG’s senior spinner Amit Mishra.

Talking about cricket, RCB posted a total of 126 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs; later on, LSG failed to chase it down and got all out 108 runs losing the match by 18 runs.
