Bangladesh's star cricketer Shakib Al Hasan is one of the top-most all-rounders of the game in any format. He is leading Bangladesh in Tests and T20I format. He is currently standing at the top of the ODI and T20I rankings in the world and ranked at no.3 in the list of all-rounders in Test. The all-rounder is very popular for his skills in the match both with bat and ball but he has been in many controversies out of the field.

The star allrounder is again involved in a controversy as he thrashed a fan. After defeating England in the first T20I match, Shakib attended a promotional event, where he lost his temper and thrashed a fan. He was mobbed by the fans when he left for promotional activities. However, he was also surrounded by security personnel, but still, he was finding it difficult to get past the fans. When Shakib reached close to his car, a fan snatched his cap. This enraged the all-rounder and he snatched his cap from the fan's hand and beat him with the cap itself.

Shakib is already surrounded by many controversies in the last few years. During the Bangladesh Premier League, Shakib reprimanded the leg umpire for not giving a signal for a wide over the head. During the Dhaka Premier League in 2021, Shakib lashed out at the umpire and uprooted the stumps in anger.

The left-handed allrounder recently played a T20I match against England where he again showed his both batting and bowling ability. He picked up a wicket and played an unbeaten knock of 34* runs as well and helped the team win the first match of the T20I series.
