Argentina's star football player Lionel Messi is one of the most legendary players in the game. His individual records speak enough for his magnificently successful career. He also won the FIFA World Cup which is known as the pinnacle of all football tournaments last year.

Meanwhile, Messi recently joined a soccer club called Inter Miami in a top USA league 'Major League Soccer'. And after just 1 month he led his team to lift their first-ever Leagues Cup title. Messi has also scored 10 goals for the club already. He has also increased the craze of the game in the USA. Many fans have reacted to Inter Miami’s victory and congratulated the club.

Talking about the match, Messi scored a brilliant goal in the 23rd minute of the match but Nashville’s Fafa Picault came with a stunning equaliser in the 57th minute. However, there were no further goals were scored before the final whistle and the game paved the way for the penalty shootout where Inter Miami defeated Nashville by 10-9. Miami’s goalkeeper Drake Callender was named Player of the Match and he also talked about it after the game.

“It’s a huge honour to play a role in our first win in a final. It’s pretty surreal. Very emotional. This team works so hard day in, and day out to be able to perform like this on a night like this. And to have it come down to the very end, it was amazing to see the grit, just the belief of what we’re capable of. It’s something special and I’m just blessed to be a part of it,” Callender was quoted as saying by Major League Soccer.

“I just had to stay focused, breathe through it, stay as calm as possible. I mean, this atmosphere here tonight is electric. So, I embraced the moment and I just believed in the work that I put in and the repetitions I put in leading up to that moment and it just ended up going our way,” he added.
