Even though it has been almost three years since the former UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and former UFC double champ Conor McGregor fought at UFC 229, which is still the UFC's highest-selling pay-per-view, the animosity doesn't seem to have subsided even little as recently Khabib shared his all-time top-15 UFC GOAT (Greatest of all time) list on his Twitter account and didn't include McGregor into it.

It's interesting to note that Khabib recently put together a list of MMA athletes that have made lasting contributions to the sport, dubbed the "GOAT" fighters. Given that McGregor's former opponent Jose Aldo was on the list, some fans of combat sports questioned his absence.

Taking to Twitter, Khabib posted: "My MMA GOAT top 15: 1) Fedor/Jones 2) GSP 3) Anderson Silva 4) Demetrious Johnson 5) Daniel Cormier 6) Henry Cejudo 7) Jose Aldo 8) Kamaru Usman 9) Adesanya 10) BJPENN 11) Royce Gracie 12) Couture/Velasquez 13) Hendo/Shogun 14) CroCop/Miocic 15) Dominic Cruz/Frankie Edgar."

In the end, it's who's left. Don't forget: Conor McGregor to Khabib

Meanwhile, McGregor didn't take a lot of time and responded to Khabib by reminding him that he retired from the sports before him. "In the end, it's who's left. Don't forget. God bless Tidl Sports Science." However, earlier, he also shared his top 3 UFC fighters of all time, in which he ranked Anderson Silva on top and on the no.2 spot put himself while on no.3 he put the former two-division champion Georges St-Pierre.

"GOAT THREAD. With the array of finishes, across 2 divisions, with champion status in 1, Anderson Silva is the No.1 MMA GOAT. My array of finishes, across 3 divisions, with champion status in 2, I’m No.2. If not tied 1. However, still active, No.1 is fully secured by career end. And easily."

"GSP is in at 3. Much less array of finishes but champion status in 2. He is far behind though. Reasons = Left 170 after much damage taken+questionable decision. Never re-engaged 170lb successors. Bottled Anderson fight. Only moved when a one-eyed fighter presented. Played safe."
