Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani is currently playing for Dambulla Aura in the ongoing Lanka Premier League 2023. In the two games he played for the team, his figures read 4-0-37-2 and 4-0-36-1 against Galle Titans and defending champs, Jaffna Kings. Dahani played for Pakistan A in the victorious Emerging Asia Cup 2023 campaign. Meanwhile, a video of him dancing has been going viral on the internet.

The fans have expressed disappointment as the right-arm bowler didn't do well in the tournament so far. Also, his performances against bigger sides in the Emerging Continental tournament. Talking about his national, he hasn't been able to seal his place despite doing fine in the limited opportunities. In the two ODIs and 11 T20Is, he has taken one and eight wickets respectively.

Also, the 2021 PSL winner with Multan Sultans signed with Mississauga Panthers in the Global T20 Canada. However, it seems that the Larkana-born player decided to ply his trade on the neighboring Asian side.

Shahnawaz Dahani was recently trolled for his singing

Notably, this isn't the ongoing instance when the 24-year-old has been trolled. Recently, in a video uploaded by national teammate, Hassan Ali, Dahani can be seen singing ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigadh Jayeo from the Bollywood film Jurm. After the video went viral, the fans brutally trolled him for it.

Apart from this, the Multan Sultans player has been under criticism for his on-field antics in the last few seasons of PSL. One such instance was running behind former Apex Council umpire Aleem Dar. This year, he missed an easy run out against the eventual title winner, Lahore Qalandars. In the game, the likes of Hussain Talat and Sikandar Raza had a mixup.

The latter played a slower but only towards Dahani. Talat took off without realizing the single wasn't on. Despite having a lot of time, Dahani managed to miss the stumps.
