The Men's U-19 World Cup 2024 is currently underway. The tournament was introduced as a multi-national tournament in 1988 that had a competition between the Under-19 (U19) teams from the top cricketing nations. But the second edition took place after ten years in 1998. But after that, it is being played once every two years. India are the defending champions of the tournament as well as the most successful team as well winning the trophy 5 times. 

The tournament has provided a platform for young players to display their abilities on the world stage, they in the later stages have been the stars in international cricket. Over the years, certain teams have regularly distinguished out for their outstanding performances and consecutive participation in the tournament's final matches. 

The tournament has also given the stars like Virat Kohli, Babar Azam, Steve Smith, Kagiso Rabada and many more. These cricketers have shown their talent in the world's stage going forward with time. They have also the chance to make it their 6th trophy as well.
