Check out Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) owners, venues and no. of matches in tournament

India is going to have their first-ever T10 league known as the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) where six teams are participating: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Srinagar, and Kolkata. The format of the match will be 10 overs per team. As the fans are enjoying the rush of T20 matches, the T10 tournament will increase the excitement more. 

In the grand reveal ceremony, Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar, Ravi Shastri, Amol Kale, and Suraj Samat were present. The six teams will play against each other in the T10 tournament to become the ultimate champion. When it comes to bidding, the base price of the 'Invitation to Bid' was Rs 10 lakhs.

1. Team Chennai

Actor Surya Shivkumar is the owner of the team Chennai. He is a well-known actor throughout the country and his team will travel to Mumbai to play the tournament. Since CSK is extremely famous in IPL, it will be interesting to see their fans supporting Surya's team in the ISPL. For the Chennai team, the bid was Rs 163.6 crore from Rajdipkumar Gupta and Sandipkumar Gupta.

2. Team Mumbai

Renowned actor, Amitabh Bachchan is the owner of the Mumbai team who will be participating in the ISPL. His son Abhishek Bachchan already owns two teams, Jaipur Pink Panthers and the Chennai Football Club. Finally, Amitabh has also joined the owners race in the upcoming ISPL. Moreover, the bidders for the Mumbai team put Rs 205.6 crore from Neeti Agrawal’s PATH India Ltd.

3. Team Srinagar

Pan-India famous actor, Akshay Kumar is the team owner of Srinagar. He is quite happy and excited to own the Srinagar team as it will help improve the cricket situations in Jammu and Kashmir. Moreover, the Srinagar owners saw the highest bid of Rs 251 crore from Sanjay Gupta and Rohan Gupta’s SG Sports Pvt. Ltd.

4. Team Bengaluru

When we talk about cricket, Bengaluru is synonymous to it. Moreover, the ISPL's Bengaluru team is owned by everyone's favourite, Hrithik Roshan. Also, when it comes to bidding, the Bengaluru team owners put Rs 225 crore from Venkat K Narayana’s KVN Enterprises LLP.

5. Team Kolkata

Team owners of Kolkata are the Bollywood duo, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. They both have entered the field of sports and owned the Kolkata team. Moreover, the bidders had put Rs 120 crore from Aksha Kamboj’s Aspect Global Ventures Pvt. Ltd for the team.

6. Team Hyderabad

Team Hyderabad in the ISPL is owned by the famous South Indian actor, Ram Charan Teja. With this, he has entered the world of sports. Moreover, Rs 200 crore from Irfan Razack’s INR Holdings for Ram Charan’s Team Hyderabad was the bid for the Hyderabad team.
