Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrate 6th wedding anniversary

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are the power couple in the cricketing world. They both tied the knot back in 2017 December 11, at Borgo Finocchieto, an 800-year-old heritage villa in Tuscany, Italy. Their love story is often given as an example in social media.  The couple's family and close friends attended the wedding ceremony. Virat and Anushka are frequently praised as examples of couple goals. 

A year after their official wedding, Kohli shared some of the unseen and beautiful photographs from their wonderful day. Among such occasions, one photograph of the couple taking their wedding pheras caught everyone's attention. The couple even celebrated two receptions, one in Mumbai and the other one in Delhi. The couple met in 2013 during a television advertisement shoot and eventually fell in love. They dated for a few years before tying the knot in the presence of their friends and family.

Anushka and Virat are now the proud parents of Vamika, who was born in 2021. The couple as per the rumours are expecting their second child as well. Virat recently surpassed his cricketing idol Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries as he scored the 50th one and his wife was also present during this memorable moment. In the group stage match against Netherlands in ODI World Cup 2023 he picked a wicket of Dutch captain Scott Edwards and the couple was seen celebrating as a video of them went viral. 

Virat-Anushka completes six years of togetherness

Anushka wrote while sharing the first wedding glimpse on social media, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."

Kohli wrote, "Can’t believe it’s been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever."
