After the wait of the decades the Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha Ceremony will take place on January 22 Monday, at Ayodhya. The entire nation is eagerly awaiting the start of the sacred event, which will be attended by various prominent figures of the country. As per the PTI reports there is a 500-state guest list, which includes politicians, actors, sports icons, and entrepreneurs invited to the event on Monday. Though it is not clear how many of them will actually attend the opening of the 161-feet-tall pink sandstone shrine.
Numerous cricketers have been invited to the event, including greatest cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, as well as former World Cup-winning captains Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni. Among the current Indian cricketers, including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin have also been invited. Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble, Virendra Sehwag and Indian cricket coach Rahul Dravid are on the list too.
Former captain of the Indian women's cricket team Mithali Raj and current captain Harmanpreet Kaur are also being invited to the grand ceremony. Sachin Tendulkar was the first person to receive the invitation followed by MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harmanpreet Kaur who were also presented the invitation. Kohli has sought for special permission from the Indian Cricket Board to attend the ceremony on Monday. Gautam Gambhir will also be at the event on Monday.
Other celebrities who are invited
Shuttlers Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu, chess grandmaster Viswanathan Anand, sprint queen PT Usha, and footballer Bhaichung Bhutia are also among the prominent sports personalities who have received invitations. These eminent stars are eager to attend the ceremony.
Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt are on the guest list, which also features Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit and BJP's actor-MPs Hema Malini and Sunny Deol South actors Rajnikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Junior NTR have all been invited to the 'Pran Pratishtha' event at Ram Temple, Ayodhya.
