WATCH: Saud Shakeel and Sarfaraz Ahmed exchange heated words during practice session

Pakistan had a horrible ODI World Cup 2023 the team failed to qualify for the knockouts for the second consecutive time in the mega event. Their management has been changed after the result of the World Cup. Babar Azam has stepped down as the captain of the side from all formats of the game. Shan Masood has been named as the Test captain and Shaheen Shah Afridi has been appointed as the T20I captain the team is yet to decide on the ODI format and they have time as they do not have any ODI scheduled in recent times. 

The Men in Green is currently in Australia, for the three-match Test series. In their four-day practice match against Australia's President XI, Pakistan's veteran wicket-keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed was involved in a verbal spat with his teammate Saud Shakeel during a training session in Canberra. The first test will begin on December 14 in Perth. 

The team will be playing a four-day practice game at the Manuka Oval in Canberra which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday. The video of the heated exchange has gone viral on social media. Previously, Sarfaraz and Saud were involved in a separate incident. Sarfaraz had requested a timed-out dismissal against Saud Shakeel, who was taking his time coming out to the center. When Saud realized this, he dashed for the center and was eventually pronounced not out.

Shakeel was heard as saying in the video, "For how long will I continue to be of use to you?" In reply Sarfaraz said, "You won't be of any use to me. To begin with, I never instructed you to do anything. I never requested you to make a swap. I swapped with the person I intended to." Shakeel replied back saying, "You still made the swap, so I was beneficial to you."
