India's young batter, Shubman Gill, was seen in action during the fourth Test match against England. India won the fourth Test match against England by five wickets in Ranchi. India is headed to Dharamshala for the last Test match against England.
While Shubman Gill was on national duty with the Indian cricket team, he surprised his Gujarat Titans teammate Robin Minz’s father, Francis Minz at the Bisra Munda Airport in Ranchi. Francis, a retired army man, is currently working as a security official at the airport. Shubman Gill met him while he was departing Ranchi after the Test match. Shubman Gill also lauded him for his great efforts and for fulfilling his son’s dream. Shubman Gill posted a story on Instagram: “Honoured to meet Robin Minz's father. Your journey and hard work have been inspiring. Looking forward to seeing you in the IPL.”

Robin Minz bought back Gujarat Titans in an IPL mini-auction
Robin Minz becomes the first tribal cricketer to be part of the IPL team. In the 2024 IPL mini-auction, he started a bidding war for his services between Mumbai Indians Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Eventually, Gujarat Titans acquired his services for Rs. 3.6 crore. Robin Minz has played for Jharkhand U19 and U25.
For IPL 2024 Shubman Gill will be the captain for Gujarat Titans for the first time. As Hardik Pandya was traded to Mumbai Indians. The IPL 2024 will start from March 22. The opening game will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in M. Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk), Chennai. While Gujarat Titans will start their IPL campaign on 24th March. They face Mumbai Indians at their home in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
India will face England in HCPA Stadium Dharamshala for the last Test match in the ongoing Test series.
