Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be clashing against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 43rd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, May 1. In the previous clash, LSG emerged victorious in a last-ball thriller contest by just 1 wicket but now RCB will look to avenge their loss.

Meanwhile, ahead of the clash, shocking news is getting viral on social media as Kedhar Jadhav has replaced David Willey in RCB for the remaining matches of the season. However, the Faf du Plessis-led team didn’t give enough chance to Willey as he got to play only 4 matches in this season in which he scored just 35 runs and picked up 3 wickets.

RCB has acquired Jadhav for Rs 1 crore. With Delhi Daredevils, he made his IPL debut in 2010. He has since appeared in 93 IPL games and amassed 1196 runs. Jadhav participated in 17 games for RCB in the 2016–17 season before being acquired by Chennai Super Kings. Jadhav competed for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2021 competition. For the following two seasons, he didn't find any buyers at the auctions.

However, it'd be interesting to see if RCB will include Jadhav in the match against LSG or if they will make him wait for a few matches as already some other players are also waiting on the bench. Talking about RCB's performance in the season so far, they've played 8 matches till now and suffered 4 losses out of them. With 8 points, they are currently sitting in the 6th position in the points table.

On the other hand, LSG had a great tournament so far as in the 8 matches they've registered 5 victories and acquired 10 points due to which they are at the No. 2 spot in the points table just behind the defending Gujarat Giants (GT). However, if RCB defeats LSG on Monday, they will move up in the top 4 spots while LSG won't be affected too much.
