Group F madness had thrilled every football fan as German have crashed out of the FIFA World Cup whereas Japan has topped their group after defeating Spain. Let's look at how the two games panned out.

Costa Rica vs Germany

Germany have crashed out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 despite winning against Costa Rica by 2-4. The European team faced a massive challenge in which they had to score 6-0 in order to get ahead of Spain who were on a similar points tally. Costa Rica however thumped Germany after Serge Gnabry opened the scoring in the 10th minute.

A goal by Yeltsin Tejeda in the 58th minute and Juan Pablo Vargas in 70th brought Germany to the bottom of the table. A brace from Kai Havertz and a goal by Niclas Fullkrug won them the match but it wasn't enough for them to get through to the Round of 16.

Japan vs Spain

Japan thrilled everyone after they defeated Germany in their FIFA World Cup 2022 opener. While many thought it was a fluke, the Japanese went ahead and did it again as they defeated Spain in their third game.

Spain went ahead with an Alvaro Morata goal in the 11th minute but Ritsu Doan and Ao Tanaka scored two and took Japan into the folklore. With this win, Japan have topped Group F and Germany have crashed out of the mega event.
