It has been five days since the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants ended. Both teams have since played in the tournament and endured a "Loss" and "No Result" respectively. However, the verbal spat that broke out between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir has yet to be resolved. The former Indian southpaw added fuel to the fire by commenting on a cryptic post made by Naveen ul Haq.
The Afghanistan international, Naveen ul Haq, recently posted a photo on social media alongside Gautam Gambhir with a caption that read, "Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to," accompanied by a goat emoticon, clearly taking a dig at Virat Kohli. Responding to the post, Gautam Gambhir commented, "Be who you are!! 'Never Change'."

After Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) successfully defended the lowest score of the season, a heated argument broke out between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir on the field. Despite a small fightback from Marcus Stoinis and Krishnappa Gowtham, RCB managed to get over the line with brilliant bowling, thanks in no small part to Kohli's electric fielding and crowd-pleasing antics.
In the post-game pleasantries, Kohli appeared pumped up, which didn't sit well with Gambhir. The verbal exchange between the two legendary Indian players was not a good look for the sport. Fortunately, Faf du Plessis and the coaching staff of the Lucknow Super Giants were on hand to separate the two and defuse the situation. However, the social media battle between the players continues to rage on.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will want to get their campaign back on track when they face Mumbai Indians on Tuesday whereas Lucknow Super Giants will want to steady their campaign in the absence of K L Rahul on Sunday against Gujarat Titans.
