India’s run machine, Virat Kohli couldn’t replicate a similar knock he played in the last T20 international on Thursday. In the second ODI against Sri Lanka, pacer Lahiru Kumara rattled Virat Kohli’s stumps with an absolute peach of a delivery. He could only manage 4 runs during a 216-run chase in the second innings. Kumar pitched one on the offside and the ball jagged back in after pitching and rattled Kohli’s stumps.
Kohli got a faint edge but that wasn’t enough to stop the ball to crash into the stumps. His wicket left India reeling at 62 for 3 inside the first 10 overs.
Virat Kohli's wicket led to the social media talking. Here's a look at some of the reactions from the fans following Virat's wicket:

Skipper, Rohit Sharma also got out early off Karunaratne after scoring 17 runs in 21 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.
Shubman Gil (21 off 12) pulled one straight into the hands of Avishka Fernando as India failed to replicate the start that they had in the first match. At the time of writing, India have lost four wickets for just 123 runs in 25 overs. Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are currently toiling it hard in the middle. Earlier, Sri Lanka managed to score 215 runs in the first innings.
Making his debut for Sri Lanka, Nuwanidu Fernando played a stellar knock of 50 runs in 63 balls, including 6 fours. He could have scored a lot more but, unfortunately, got run out. Sri Lanka had lost only 1 wicket in the first 15 overs and were playing pretty well.
But the introduction of spin saw them collapse. Kuldeep Yadav ran through Sri lanka’s middle over as they slipped to 126 for 6 in the space of 7 overs. Wanindu Hasaranga (21 off 17) and D Wellalage (32 off 34) led some recovery with handy contributions. Later, Rajitha and Karunaratne also contributed 17 runs each to lift the team’s total to 215 runs in the end.
