List A Cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (ODI) format, which includes One-Day Internationals and various domestic competitions as well. It also involves some international matches involving nations who have not yet achieved official ODI status.
List A is one of the three major forms of cricket recognized by the Cricket Governing Body. The first List-A match was played between Lancashire and Leicestershire in May 1963 in the preliminary round of the Gillette Cup.
