India and Australia will be clashing against each other in the upcoming Test Championship final which will take place between June 7 to 11 at the Oval in London. Both teams have already started preparing for the grand final as many players were spotted in training sessions. 

Meanwhile, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma attended the FA Cup final at Wembley in London on Saturday, June 3. India’s young sensation Shubman Gill was also spotted with the couple. Meanwhile, an image is getting viral on social media in which Kohli and Gill can be seen wearing similar hoodies after which fans gave funny reactions to it.

Manchester City and Manchester United faced off in the championship match, with City coming out on top 2-1. German player and City captain Lkay Gündoan scored both goals for City, while Portuguese striker Bruno Fernandes scored for United via penalty.

Talking about Kohli and Gill, both are in tremendous form as they were batting exceptionally well in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2023 where Gill was the highest run-scorer and won the Orange Cap by scoring 890 runs in just 17 matches. On the other hand, Kohli also batted brilliantly throughout the tournament as he scored 639 runs in just 14 matches and finished in the 4th place in the most run-scorer list.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Test Championship final, Australian captain Pat Cummis said that the IPL has ended the players' time monopoly on international cricket. Cummins added that it will be difficult to convince players in the future to choose national service over franchise cricket.

“International cricket doesn’t have a monopoly on players’ time like it did in the past. The IPL changed that a decade ago, but there’s just going to be more and more content that creeps in, so I think we’ve got to be proactive about that,” he said.
