Former PUBG pro player and Team Soul Battlegrounds Mobile India coach Amit ‘Amit’ Dubey recently scheduled a live stream on his YouTube channel and talked about representing the country in gaming and many other topics related to his team. He said he also represented India in the international platform multiple times but faced only defeat every time whether as a coach or as a player.

Amit coached Team SouL to win the first-ever BGMI tournament called Pro Series season 1 last year. However, they couldn’t have any tournaments after that as the game was removed from all the virtual stores in India. He also stated that he still got the fire inside him to dominate on the world stage like a top 5 team. He also said that how Team SouL dominates in the Indian circuit, he wants them to dominate in the international circuit as well.

“I have been on the international scene almost four or five times. However, every time, whether as a coach or a player, I have faced an upset. The fire still burns in me that wants my team to dominate like a Top 5 team. I want the four players from my team to perform brilliantly as they do on the Indian esports circuit. I think we lack that."

Team SouL also represented the Indian flag in the international when they went to Dubai to participate in PMWI last year but they performed very poorly and finished at the 11th position. During the stream, Amit opened up about the problem players (Omega, Goblin, Akshat, Hector) faced while they were competing against the best players in the world. He said that they had a lot problems while adapting the gameplay at that level.

"Last time, the players could not adapt and they knew it themselves. Each of them was facing difficulties in adapting to the global playstyle. We were losing fights against Box in Pecado. One of them was eliminating two of ours, which is not normative for us."
