India vs Australia's fourth T20I is currently being played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium, Raipur. The Men in Blue are leading the series 2-1 and would love to seal the series in this match. They are already playing a second-string side in the series with the senior players who were part of the ODI World Cup 2023 have been given rest. Suryakumar Yadav is leading the side and the team has made 4 changes from their last match defeat in Guwahati. Shreyas Iyer has joined the side, along with Deepak Chahar, Jitesh Sharma has got a chance in place of Ishan Kishan, and  Mukesh Kumar comes back after his wedding. 

During the game, Ruturaj Gaikwad achieved a milestone as the opener became the fastest Indian batter to complete 4000 runs in T20s. He has been in good form in the shortest format of the game, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener scored his maiden international hundred in the third T20I at Guwahati and became the first batter to smash a ton against the Aussies. The batter required 7 runs to achieve the milestone and he simply crossed it. 

India after being invited to bat first, Surya's side lost two quick wickets after a good start. Both the skipper and Iyer are back to the dugout without troubling the opponents. The Men in Blue are currently 80/3 in the 10 overs with Rinku Singh and Gaikwad there in the crease.

The Pune-born opener has been in good form in the current year. The batter led the Indian team in the Asian Games 2022, where they won the gold medal. He has been named as the vice-captain, for this series and has been selected in the ODI and T20 series against South Africa. 

The right-hander has five T20 centuries, including one for CSK in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2021. Gaikwad has three hundreds for Maharashtra in the domestic Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 20-over event.
