India is currently hosting England for a 5-match Test series. The Men in Blue have lost the first Test by 28 runs. The Three Lions will try to extend their dominance in the second Test between India and England, which will be contested in Vishakhapatnam. Rohit Sharma's side is currently struggling with injury problems as the first Test stars for the home side Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul will be missing the 2nd Test due to injuries.

Rohit's bat needs to fire in the upcoming game in order for the home side to win the game. England on the other hand has announced their playing XI for the 2nd game with Shoaib Bashir and James Anderson coming in place of Mark Wood and injured Jack Leech. They have won 14 games out of 19 they have played under the tenure of Brendon McCullum and played an aggressive brand of cricket irrespective of the situation.

The visitors will continue their brand of cricket starting from Friday and the Men in Blue will be looking for a fight back in the Test and level the series. There will be some top-notch battles during the game and in the article we will be looking for the players to watch out for in the 2nd Test.

Here are the 5 players to watch out IND vs ENG for in the 2nd Test

5. Shoaib Bashir

Shoaib Bashir will be a player to watch out for in the upcoming match. The 20-year-old off-spinner had some issues with this visa but after solving all the problems he is all set to make the debut in the 2nd Test as he has been replacing Jack Leech who has some injury. With spinning conditions and the player being unknown to many he can be a tricky player for the side and also the player to watch out for.

4. Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been probably the best batter since his debut for the national side he has shined across formats for the Men in Blue while scoring a century on his debut in West Indies. Jaiswal also played a good and aggressive knock of 80 runs in the 1st Test but could not convert it into the three-figure marks. He will try to surely score a big hundred against the Three Lions in the 2nd Test and can be a player to watch out for.

3. Rajat Patidar

Rajat Patidar who has been in good form in first-class cricket, has been rewarded back as he was named as the replacement for Virat Kohli for the first two Tests with the latter missing the two matches for some personal issues. Though Patidar did not get a chance in the first Test, but he will be an obvious choice as Rahul also has been ruled out due to injury with the experience he is carrying in the current season he will be a player to watch out for.

2. Axar Patel

Axar Patel has been one of the most consistent all-rounder, he has been performing well for the side, especially in the longest format of the game. He was the second-highest wicket-taker when England last time toured India with 27 wickets beside his name. Though in the 1st Test, he did have a good outing with the ball but he contributed with the bat decently scoring some important runs. He might be another player to watch out for.

1. Joe Root

Joe Root was the star for England in the 1st Test as the batter was brilliant with the ball in the first Indian innings picking up 4 wickets. He did not have runs but will surely be looking for runs in the 2nd Test as he is currently the highest run-getter in the longest format of the game among active cricketers but his contribution with the ball will also be crucial making him the player to watch out for.
