'Itna kaun marta hain'- Fans react as England dominate at end of Day 2 of 3rd Test against India

India vs England 3rd Test Day 2 has just ended. The English batters have again shown their attacking brand of cricket. With opener Ben Duckett scoring a century. The left-handed batter has counter-attacked the Indian bowling attack. After Rohit Sharma won the toss the home side elected to bat first. They lost early wickets but a 204-run partnership between the skipper and star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as both batters scored centuries on the first day of the game. Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel had a dream debut with the former scoring a fifty and Jurel missing the fifty by 4 runs.

The Men in Blue scored 445 before being bowled out, for the last wicket they stitched, 30 runs with Jasprit Bumrah scoring valuable 26 runs. 

In reply the English openers Zak Crawley and Duckett started explosively. They scored 89 runs for the first wicket in 13 overs scoring over 6 runs per over. Ravichandran Ashwin got the first breakthrough as the veteran off-spinner picked up his 500 wickets as he dismissed Crawley for 15 runs. 

Ben Duckett stars in Day 2

Duckettt has been the aggressor, the batter has been not out on 133 runs off 118 deliveries smashing 21 fours and 2 sixes. Mohammed Siraj got the second wicket as the pacer picked up Ollie Pope for just 39 runs. Joe Root and the opener is still there in the crease as they still trail by 238 runs with 8 wickets in hand. They will try to score fast on Day 3 and take a lead over the Men in Blue. 

Ashwin became the first off-spinner for India to pick 500 wickets. He has been a match-winner for the side in the traditional format of the game. The home side will be looking to restrict the three lions as early as possible.
