India vs England 3rd Test has been over on Sunday. With the Men in Blue won the game by a mammoth margin of 434 runs. England despite winning the first Test has been handed over the taste of defeat in the last two games by the home side. While chasing a target of 556 they were bowled out for 122 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in sensational form the batter scored his second double-century on Sunday and became the third batter to score a consecutive double-hundred after Virat Kohli, and Vinod Kambli.

Jasprit Bumrah has been the star for India across formats since his return from injury. Bumrah has been playing since the Ireland series and since then he has not been rested for the side. The speedster might be rested keeping in mind the workload management as the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the T20 World Cup 2024 are just a few months away.

As per the report, he will be on a break of almost 20 days before he returns for the series finale in Dharamsala, which starts off on March 7. The return for the series finale will also depend on the result of the Ranchi Test. The 30-year-old pacer might be replaced by Mukesh Kumar.

Bumrah silent star for India

He is currently the leading wicket-taker of the series with 17 wickets at an average of 13.64 and has already sent down 80.5 overs in the three games so far. Similarly, Mohammed Siraj was also given a break in the 2nd game of the series. Then he came back in the third game and bowled brilliantly in the 1st innings of the match. The home side has a good record in the venue as they won their last game against South Africa in 2019 and in 2017 the game was drawn against Australia.

Mukesh Kumar who was released, was part of the Bengal Ranji Trophy team where he picked 10 wickets against Bihar. He would like to do similar in the 4th Test.
