India vs England 2nd Test match is currently underway. During the Day 4 the visitors are chasing a target of 399 runs. The Three Lions have lost 6 wickets and have been in trouble as the home side picked 5 wickets before lunch on the current day. During the game Ravichandran Ashwin and Jonny Bairstow were involved in a heated verbal spat exchange of words.

The incident occurred at the stroke of lunch, when star bowler Jasprit Bumrah trapped Bairstow LBW with a nip-back. As the on-field umpire raised his finger, Bairstow requested a review. However, ball-tracking technology indicated that the ball would have nicked the leg stump, forcing the English batter to go back to the pavillion for 26.

As he made his way back to the dressing room, Ashwin burst into an impassioned celebration and displayed his aggression in front of Bairstow. The wicket-keeper batter reacted angrily at Ashwin's actions, saying a few words to him. The cameras also caught the off-spinner speaking to the England cricketer. Ashwin is on the verge of achieving a unique milestone as he is just one wicket away from picking 500 wickets in the longest format of the game.
