The 4th Test match between India and England started on February 23, in Ranchi. This match was the debut match of Akash Deep who replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the 4th Test match. However, the pacer will remember his debut match forever as it took a dramatic turn. While bowling to Zak Crawley, Akash bowled a beautiful ball which dismissed the batter. However, it turned out to be a no-ball. 

It was a heartbreaking moment for the bowler as that could have been his first international wicket. Moreover, Akash got a chance in the Indian team thanks to his 12 wickets in three matches against the England Lions. He has had an impressive domestic record as well. Debuting alongside Mohammed Siraj, Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, Akash will get to learn a lot from the players.

Moreover, India will miss Jasprit Bumrah as he was the prime bowler for the team. With an average of 13.65 in three matches, Bumrah had taken 17 wickets. He has never failed to take India out of any crisis or give important breakthroughs whenever needed. 

'We would have batted first as well' - Captain Rohit Sharma on team ahead of 4th Test match

Captain Rohit Sharma seemed to be proud of the team during the toss ahead of the match against England. As India had to field first, Rohit mentioned that the team wanted to bat first as the pitch was dry. Moreover, he is confident about the team and is hopeful of having a good performance in the ongoing match.

Rohit, at the time of the toss, said, "We would have batted first as well. Look a bit dry and has some cracks, but that's the nature of the pitch here. The last two games were good for us and we'll have to play in the same way. Proud of a lot of young guys in the squad, they've taken the responsibility and have taken the challenge head-on. They are confident in their skills, moving forward, it's a good thing for us going forward. One change with Akash Deep making his debut."
