IPL Auction 2024 Retained & Released Players List, Remaining Purse for DC

Delhi Capitals (DC) has been one of the most formidable sides, but they failed to become the champions. They qualified for the finals in the year 2020 but they lost to Mumbai Indians (MI). Ahead of the 2024 season of the mega event, it was made official by the former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, who is also the director of cricket for the franchise, that their regular captain and star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant will be seen again in action. Pant had to miss out on playing the previous season as he suffered an accident. 

They failed to qualify for the knockouts in the previous edition of the tournament. DC performed poorly and finished in the 9th position in the table. They have released several big names ahead of the 2024 auction. Manish Pandey and Sarfaraz Khan have been released by the franchise and they would love to pick some good bowlers as they only have Anrich Nortje. 

The mini–auction of the IPL, is scheduled to take place on December 19 in Dubai, and DC will make their plans and do good homework for the auction table in order to pick the players they would need to strengthen the squad. They have always come up with a good plan in order to buy some big names in the auction. They have a good amount of 28.95 crore INR left in their purse.
