The star England batter Harry Brook has been one of the most expensive buys in the IPL 2023. Playing his first season in the cash-rich league Brook has received a paycheck of ₹13.25 crore from Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, in the first two games Brook has been very poor with the bat as he has failed to perform against spinners.

In his first game against Rajasthan Royals, he was bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal for 13 runs as the Hyderabad-based franchise lost the game by 72 runs. In the second game against Lucknow Super Giants Brook was once again trapped by a leg spinner as he succumbed to Ravi Bishnoi.

Green who was the second most expensive buy of the IPL 2023 has been one of the biggest flops of the week. In two games he played in the IPL 2023, he failed to impress the audience.

In the first game against Royal Challengers Bangalore Green who came to bat at number three was dismissed by Reece Topley for just five runs. In the bowling, he bowled two overs and clinched a wicket by giving 30 runs. In the second game against CSK, he barely managed to score 12 runs and didn't get a wicket while bowling. Young India batter Prithvi Shaw is one of the most talented players in the country. The Mumbai-based batter has been phenomenal throughout his Domestic career but has failed to replicate it on the biggest stage. He has been struggling with poor form in recent times. In the first two games against Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans, Shaw failed to score runs and was dropped from the initial playing xi of Delhi Capitals in the next game.

He although, came in as an impact player but failed to score again. In the last three games, he has scored just 19 runs and has struggled against pace bowlers. Shaw struggled against the pace and was wiped out for 12 by Mark Wood in an LSG match, while he only scored 7 against the defending champions before Mohammed Shami trapped him.

Andre Russell (2 matches 35 runs)

Star West Indies batter Andre Russell has been one of the greatest players in the shortest format of the game. He can change the momentum of the game at any given time. However, IPL 2023 has been one of the biggest flops for him as Russell has failed to impress the fans. In the first game against Punjab Kings Russell scored a quick 19 balls and 35 runs but didn't try to get the team to the winning side.

He just came to hit the ball and didn't cost his wicket. However, in the second game against RCB Russell failed to open his account as he was dismissed for a duck. Notably, he is also not bowling this year and it is one of the biggest concerns for the KKR.
