The iQOO BGMI Pro Series 2023 has finally come to an end on Sunday, July 2. Godlike Esports came back in form and won the tournament with a total number of 136 points in 18 matches, which included 92 finish points and 44 placement points. With this win, Godlike took INR 4 Lakhs home.

Godlike Esports were out of form ever since the game got unbanned as they even failed to qualify for the final in the recently concluded Nodwin x Rooter BGMI Champions Cup 2023. They were failing to finish even in the top 8 and were criticised by a lot of fans on social media. One of the reasons behind their poor performance was the absence of Suraj ‘Neyoo’ Majumdar. Neyoo fractured his hand during a football match and couldn’t play BGMI for almost 1 month.

However, he came back in action in the iQOO tournament and displayed a brilliant performance in the finals. Jonathan ‘JONATHAN’ Amaral won the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award by acquiring 34 eliminations in the finals. Jonathan will try to continue his form in the upcoming Villager BGMI Pro Invitational Season 2.

Brilliant consistency from Soul Esports

Coming back to the iQOO event, Orange Rock (OR) Esports, who were performing before the final day and were also at the top after Day 2, slipped to second place after an unforgettable performance in a few matches on this event's final day. The roster gained 127 points with the help of two Chicken Dinners and 74 eliminations and received INR 2.5 Lakhs in prize money.

The brand new BGMI roster Gods Reign, the top-performing squad after this event's first six games, grabbed the second runners-up spot with 123 points and 72 kills. Their frontline assaulted NinjaJod produced some impressive performances throughout the competition. Gujarat Tigers, a newly established team, came fourth without earning a single Chicken Dinner and were awarded INR 1 Lakh.

However, Soul Esports, who were the fan favourites as usual ended up at the 7th spot with a total number of 105 points. However, they have remained consistent in almost every tournament they’ve played after the game got unbanned.
