Top-order batter and stand-in India Test team captain KL Rahul continues to disappoint with the bat as he added yet another poor performance in the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh. The second Test of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh is being played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Rahul was not able to do anything in the first inning as well. He is being criticized by fans around the world and by many cricket experts as well. He was out of form in the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup 2022 as well. Fans are furious as they want the management to throw him out of the team and give someone else the opportunity to show their talent.

Brilliant comeback by the Bangla Tigers

Talking about the match, In the opening session of the third day, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jaydev Unadkat, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj all claimed a wicket each, giving India a firm grip on the game. However, first Test centurion Zakir Hasan managed to hold up one end and put up some resistance in the second session with Litton Das at the other end. Soon after the third over began, Zakir’s innings came to an end, but Bangladesh immediately mounted a comeback.

Litton Das took control after a brief cameo from Nurul Hasan, which helped Bangladesh gain an early lead before increasing it to beyond 100. Taskin was unbeaten on 31 off 46 when the innings was called off due to confusion, and Bangladesh gave India a target of 145.

The last session of Day 3 was owned by Bangladesh as they dismissed 4 Indian batters on the score of 45 at the end of day 3. It's clearly not an intimidating target on most pitches but on this deteriorating surface that's spinning and having variable bounce, it was something for Bangladesh to work with. Shakib led from the front, removing his opposite number very early before Mehidy's triple strike got rid of Gill, Pujara, and Kohli to wreak havoc.
