But even after 16 years of the game, supporters managed to find an indirect jab at Virat Kohli and RCB regarding their championship trophy. Fans then expressed their opinions on social media.

Gambhir commented on the tweet by writing: "Congratulations CSK! It's difficult to win one championship; to win five is incredible! #IPL2023.” The LSG coach appeared to be making fun of both Kohli and his RCB team at the same time. Since the tournament's start, RCB has yet to take home the championship. In contrast, Gambhir has twice won this award while leading the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Due to the unpleasant verbal altercation between Virat Kohli, Naveen-ul-Haq, and Gautam Gambhir, the LSG vs. RCB game in the IPL 2023 concluded in a heated manner. Fans therefore believed that it was just a subliminal jab at the former RCB captain and his squad.
