Ahead of their first home game of the season, Delhi wishes a speedy recovery to the injured Rishabh Pant. The wicketkeeper batter is suffering from multiple injuries after crashing his car days before New Year. I hope you are recovering well. Baby steps are there but we are going to miss you.” On the other hand, Axar Patel said, “We are here after 3-4 years and tomorrow is our first home game. We are going to miss you but happy as you are recovering well.”

Notably, the 25-year-old wicketkeeper batter is set to make his first public appearance after his accident. In a recent news report, Delhi and District Cricket Association revealed that they have all clearance and have planned a grand welcome for the superstar. Pant who suffered various injuries due to the accident is currently rehabbing and will miss cricket for at least the next four to six months.

“Everyone wants to see Pant in the stadium”, Says DDCA

DDCA Director Shyam Sharma spoke about their preparations to welcome Rishabh Pant. Speaking with a media outlet Sharma said, “We have the clearances in place. It is up to Rishabh wherever he wants to sit. Whether with the owners, management, or in the team dugout. We have arranged a golf cart, and preparations for a makeshift ramp are done. Everyone wants to see Pant in the stadium. It will be good for both Delhi fans and Pant too. It’s not easy to sit at home recovering from an injury. This outing will do a world of good to Pant.”

Meanwhile, fans react to the video released by Indian T20 League. A Twitter user said, “Itni bhi sympathy kyu leni h inko.”
