Cricket is a game of uncertainties. One day, the player becomes the hero of the match and, on some other day, he also becomes the villain. Something similar happened with former legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar in IPL. The first two matches of his IPL career were great but the third match was not good for him.

Although Arjun got a wicket of Prabhsimran Singh, thanks to his accurate yorker but when he was brought for his second spell then the fans witnessed a tremendous thrashing by Punjab Kings (PBKS) batters on his 6 balls of the 16th over of the first innings. After which, he got brutally trolled on social media.

PBKS skipper Sam Curran and Harpreet Bhatia were present at the crease in the 15th over and both thrashed the 23-year-old fiercely and scored 31 runs from that over. Arjun also became the second bowler to give the most runs in an over from Mumbai Indians in IPL history just behind Daniel Sams, who is at number one. He conceded 35 runs in one over against KKR last season.

When Arjun was being thrashed, MI captain Rohit Sharma looked very worried and was shocked as well. The disappointment was clearly visible on Rohit's face. In the match, Arjun bowled 3 overs in which he gave away 48 runs. Apart from this, when fours and sixes were raining in Arjun's over, at that time Arjun’s father, Sachin was watching the match sitting in the dressing room. Disappointment could also be seen on Sachin's face.

After a poor bowling performance from MI bowlers, PBKS managed to put up a monumental total of 214 runs in 20 overs. Skipper Sam Curran led from the front and smashed a brilliant half-century. In response, MI were chasing the target at a good pace but lost their main batters at the crucial point and needed 16 runs in the last over but PBKS fast bowler Arshdeep Singh kept his calm and successfully defended the total.
