Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani could be in trouble for his latest tweet regarding non-selection on the national side. Apparently, he has been left out of the squad for the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan from August 22 to 26. Apart from this, Dahani has missed out on selection for the Men's Asia Cup 2023. Already disgruntled with this, the 2021 Pakistan Super League winner with Multan Sultans saw a tweet from former Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif.

In that tweet, Latif mentioned the stats of Pakistan pacers in List A cricket.

In reply, the right-arm pacer made a tweet about journalists not speaking about his List A stats. At the time of writing, the tweet has been deleted. However, Latif's reply is still available that reads

Now, the 25-year-old, Dahani's tweets might have landed him in trouble. Apparently, as reported by a renowned journalist in Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board might take action against the bowler.

"Fakhta has said that the PCB management is very angry over the statement given by Shahnawaz Dhani on social media. PCB has decided to take action against Shahnawaz Dhani. According to the PCB, no player has the right to criticize the journalists and the selection committee unnecessarily. @ShahnawazDahani #PakistanCricket," the tweet translates.
