The Indian squad is now taking a month off, but starting on July 12, they will play nonstop cricket until the end of the year. Beginning on July 12, The Men in Blue will travel to the West Indies for a series of 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is. The team for the tour has not yet been revealed, though.

Veteran Indian leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who has represented his country in all three formats, shared a video on Instagram with the caption, ‘Radhe Govinda’. It is assumed that Kuldeep visited the well-known Banke Bihari ji temple in Vrindavan. In addition to this video, he also posted an Instagram story. Many fans have reacted to this and shared their thoughts on social media.

Kuldeep has not received opportunities in Team India as a result of his inconsistent performance for the past few years. He last participated in an ODI for the Indian side on March 23 against Australia. On the other side, he played his final Test match on December 14, 2022, against Bangladesh, and his final T20 encounter on February 1, 2023, against New Zealand.

Kuldeep Yadav getting prepared for the upcoming West Indies tour

In 8 Test matches over the course of his international career, Kuldeep Yadav has claimed 34 wickets in the Test format. He has played 81 ODI matches and has taken 134 wickets. His greatest performance came against England in 2018 where produced a brilliant bowling performance by taking 6 wickets while conceding only 25 runs. He has played 28 matches and 46 wickets in the T20 format. However, when it comes to his Indian Premier League (IPL) career, he has played in 73 games and claimed 71 wickets.

Kuldeep wasn’t much effective in the recently concluded 16th edition of IPL as in 14 matches he was only able to take 10 wickets at an economy rate of 7.37. This was also one of the reasons behind Delhi Capitals' (DC) bad performance in the league as they finished in the 2nd last position with only 10 points in 14 matches.
